Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia's prime minister, has said the government is looking into developing digital finance policies to recognise cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, and discussed with the Abu Dhabi government and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week to explore how to advance the sector. Anwar stressed that cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are similar to artificial intelligence and are rapidly changing the financial world.
